We’re on the path to groundbreaking.
We’re deep in the design process. The land is owned by community. Our community is waiting.
We are more than halfway there! We’ve raised $26.7M. Let’s get to the finish line!
With your support, we’ll reach our next milestone: groundbreaking for our third & largest clinic in October 2026—a clinic that will serve 12,000 patients with care rooted in healing, liberation, and community.
We’re building the healthcare model we deserve.
A healthcare system that celebrates us when we arrive. Where our voices are heard in the exam room and practitioners look like us. A healthcare system that respects all our forms of medicine and cares for the people who care for us.
The Campaign for Health & Freedom is about more than bricks and mortar. We're scaling a transformative, community-designed model of care—one that’s setting a national example for healthcare innovation.

The Tubman Center for Health & Freedom was founded in 2020 by six Black, Native, and queer community trailblazers to create a new healthcare system by and for community.
Tubman Health addresses health and wellness from both systemic and clinical approaches. By practicing medicine from the intersection of health and freedom, we address both the health of our patients and the factors that determine their health.
