It’s Time to Bring the Tubman Health Center Across the Finish Line

To the leaders, funders, and community partners shaping our region’s health future,

Our communities have done the work. Over 24,000 people have contributed their time, their voices, and their ideas to build a model of healthcare rooted in equity, dignity, and freedom.

Together, Tubman Health and community have transformed community need into solutions—opening two clinics, proving the model works, and securing more than half of the funds needed to build the Tubman Health Center.

The land is ready. The design is complete. Next year, our regional health ecosystem will come together to break ground on a site for generational healing.

Patients come from 54 zip codes across King County and seven neighboring counties because they trust Tubman Health to provide care that centers the whole person, honors lived experience, and delivers measurable impact on mind, body, and spirit. That trust is a public health asset—one our region cannot afford to lose.

The Tubman Health Center will be critical infrastructure—strengthening community health, developing the next generation of healthcare professionals, and advancing care that puts health equity at its center for decades to come. This project is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to cement health justice in our region—to ensure that care is not reactive, but preventive, not siloed, but integrated, and not temporary, but generational.
